Baby in playpen all day

Having your baby in a playpen all day is not an ideal situation. The primary purpose of a playpen is to provide a safe area where the baby can have some freedom of movement around the home, but still be under the control and supervision of a caregiver. Babies need enough time and space to explore their surroundings, develop motor skills and interact with others.
